| Adam Metz joined LaunchSquad in 2007 to design, engineer and execute the company’s social and mobile media initiatives, including client projects that include blogs, podcasts, vodcasts and other applications such as wikis. He also designs and maintains internal applications and production responsibilities for these technologies. Prior to joining LaunchSquad, he had his own social media company, VIPER Education, which upon his joining LaunchSquad in May 2007, ceased to exist and all of its clients were folded into LaunchSquad's client roster.
Adam is a teacher at heart and works with clients on how to tell their story in multiple content formats, and to make it so brands can engage in customizable, unique two-way communication with current and perspective users and customers. Previously, Adam counseled startup companies regarding their mobile media programs, spent three years managing a million-dollar tech sales portfolio for CDW, and taught high school English and Reading courses for four years.
Adam has also produced four albums, and is currently at work on a fifth, due out in early 2008. He has a B.A. in News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and a single-subject English teaching credential from Notre Dame de Namur University. Metz has published articles on new media in the San Francisco Guardian and writes the social media blog Metzmash. He also plays guitar and sings for the Oakland-based band Reds.
