Ryan Allis built three companies to over $1 million in sales by age 21, raised over five million dollars in venture capital at age 22, and today in 2008 at age 23 runs an 85 person company in North Carolina called iContact that does over ten million dollars in annual sales. Let's face it, even at such a young age, Ryan knows what he’s doing when it comes to business.
In 2003, Ryan Allis self-published a book called Zero to One Million. It gives you actual usable techniques that anyone can use to create huge success.
You can purchase Zero to One Million at Amazon, in fact, we’d recommend buying a copy for yourself and at least one other for a friend. It would make a great gift for someone who is entrepreneurally minded.
All of the proceeds from Zero to One Million are going to Ryan’s non-profit organization "The Humanity Campaign", which works to reduce poverty and hunger in developing nations by increasing access to education, healthcare, and technology. You can read an article about Ryan’s efforts to give back.
Ryan actually has the crazy goal of being the President of the United States someday—we think he might just make it!
Thanks for your help!
Personal follow up to Feb. 5 launch from Ryan:
We reached #1 in Business & Investing, #1 in Marketing, #1 in Entrepreneurship, #2 in Non-Fiction, and #3 overall on Amazon today (Feb. 5), only bested by Oprah-backed Eckhart Tolle and the perenial favorite John Grisham. We beat out Eat Pray Love, Good to Great, The Tipping Point, Blue Ocean Strategy, Ready, Fire, Aim, The Four Hour Workweek, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, Getting Things Done, The E-Myth Revisited, and well, every other book in the world other than Tolle's A New Earth and Grisham's The Appeal.
The momentum we built today will spread a message of entrepreneurial possibility to tens of thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs across the United States and the world for many months to come. You've also helped with the beginnings of a lifetime effort to reduce poverty and hunger by increasing access to health care, education, and technology through The Humanity Campaign. All the net royalties from the book (once we pay off our darn PR bill) will go to this effort.
Many of you sent a second time in the evening when it was coming down to the wire. This pushed us from #6 at 9pm to #3 by midnight. Thank you for that! It made a big difference.
It's been an amazing day in so many ways. It is truly amazing what can be accomplished through word of mouth in the name of changing the world and spreading a message of entrepreneurial opportunity.
To have the #3 bestselling book in the nation on Amazon on launch day is an over-the-top successful book launch by any measure. Thank you very very much for making this possible!
Here's just a partial list of some of the blogs we reached today...
Sincerely---thank you for your help!
Entrepreneurially yours,
Ryan
